Parking rates will soon be higher for some users. A daily increase of $2 is planned for long-term parking at certain facilities. The time allowed for free parking will also decrease, from a full day to just 14 hours.

The new rates will apply to nine stations, with prices set at either $7 or $10 per day after the free period ends. Some stations will charge $10 daily, while others will charge $7.

Further details about the changes, including the reason for the increase, are available from the transit agency. The changes are set to take effect on a Monday in September.
