A man is facing charges after allegedly falsely claiming to be a police officer. Christopher Guillaume was arrested by Roswell police following a report from an ex-girlfriend about a fraudulent debit card charge. During an interview, Guillaume claimed to work for the Jonesboro Police Department and said he was transferring to a department in Orlando, Florida.
Further investigation revealed that Guillaume had never actually worked for the Jonesboro Police Department. His Facebook account featured photos of him in police gear, including a badge and body armor. It is known that Guillaume had participated in a ride-along with the department at some point.
