Two beluga whales have arrived at the Georgia Aquarium in Downtown Atlanta. The whales, Zephyr and Balor, are 7 and 10 years old, respectively. They were rescued from a Canadian zoo that closed due to financial difficulties.

The whales have been introduced to the other beluga whales at the aquarium. According to the aquarium, the whales will be allowed to discover their new surroundings at their own pace and will receive the care they need. Further details about the rescue and the whales' new home are available from the Georgia Aquarium.

The aquarium's social media post provides additional information about the whales' transition to their new habitat.
