What Atlanta voters need for the November 3, 2026 general election — official dates, tools, and offices only. Updated July 2026.

Early voting	Advance (early) in-person voting: Tuesday, October 13 – Friday, October 30, 2026, Monday–Friday plus the second and third Saturdays before Election Day (October 17 and 24); some counties also open the second and third Sundays. Vote at any advance voting location in your county.
Election Day	Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (polls per county hours)

Voting by mail

No-excuse absentee: any registered voter may apply between 78 and 11 days before the election; the application must be RECEIVED by your county office by October 23, 2026. The voted ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day (return via drop boxes inside early-voting locations during early-voting hours, or to the county registrar).
