A woman exercising in Senoia was attacked from behind by a man who attempted to sexually assault her. The incident occurred Sunday night around 10 p.m. on Travis Street, between Clark and Bridge streets.

The woman was able to fight off her attacker. The Senoia Police Department is investigating the incident and seeking help from the public.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Lt. James McCue, as the police department looks for anyone who may have noticed something suspicious in the downtown area, including near the post office and railroad tracks.
