Voters in the 13th congressional district are deciding who will fill the remainder of a congressional term. The term belongs to the late U.S. Rep. David Scott, who died in April after nearly five decades of public service. Two candidates, Marcye Scott and Everton Blair, are running in the runoff. The winner will serve through the end of the year and into early January.

The 13th congressional district includes parts of Rockdale and Clayton. A separate election for a full two-year term will take place on November 3, 2026.
