Taylor Swift's latest song has reached the top of the charts, defeating a 24-week reign by another song. "Patient Zero" is now number one on the Billboard Hot 100, pushing "Choosin' Texas" to the second spot. This achievement marks Swift's 16th number one song and her fourth chart-topper this year.

Other songs from Swift's "Showgirl" deluxe version also hold top spots, with "Cleveland!", "Babylon", and "Pink Clouding" ranking third, fourth, and fifth respectively. "Choosin' Texas" by Ella Langley had been at number one since February.

Further details about the chart rankings and Swift's new music are available from Billboard and Rolling Stone.
