A 51-year-old man has received a 30-year federal prison sentence. He pleaded guilty to operating a methamphetamine trafficking network. This network was run from a prison cell, where he was already serving a sentence for similar crimes.

The man, a Mexican citizen, worked with several others to manage the operation. An auto shop was used to hide methamphetamine, and a laboratory was set up for conversion purposes.

Further information about the case is available from the US attorney's office, which handled the prosecution.
