Jimmy Eat World has canceled their concerts at the Shaky Knees Music Festival. Lead singer Jim Adkins requires immediate surgery due to a detached retina. The band was scheduled to perform on Saturday night and at a "late night" concert on Friday at the Masquerade.

The festival will refund tickets to the late night show automatically. A schedule update for Saturday is expected soon. Adkins noticed a problem with his vision before a performance in Mexico City.
