City officials in Norcross have selected a new city manager. Cheri Hobson-Matthews, formerly the manager of Henry County, will take on the role. She is set to replace Eric Johnson, who is retiring in September.

The recruitment process for the new city manager began in May, with the city working alongside a consultant. Details of the process were discussed in executive session, away from public view. The city has announced the selection, with the mayor making the announcement on August 10.

Further information about the recruitment process and the new city manager is available from the city. A photo of Norcross City Hall is also available, taken by Ansley Kelly.
