A fire broke out near the back of The Cheesecake Factory at Perimeter Mall. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread inside the building. The fire was outside the restaurant and was put out by DeKalb County Fire Rescue.

An employee was injured in the fire and taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
