A murder suspect has been linked to three previously unsolved cases through DNA evidence. The suspect, Jamal Toliaferro, 45, faces multiple charges including malice murder, rape, and kidnapping. The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office made the connection using DNA collected from a sexual assault kit in 2014.

The case began with a reported sexual assault on December 24, 2014, and another similar crime was reported on January 30, 2019. Toliaferro's charges also include criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement officers, and armed robbery.

Further details on the case and charges against Toliaferro are available from the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.
