Researchers have been awarded funding to develop treatments for autism. The amount awarded is up to $17.25 million. This funding is for joining a new network that focuses on autism and related disorders.
The network will initially look at genetic discovery for certain types of autism. Further details about the project are available.
Funding for the project comes from an organization creating a network for clinical trials. A total of 12 sites have been selected for the network, with one site receiving full funding.
