A police department has introduced 15 new electric bikes to enhance patrol capabilities. The bikes are equipped with emergency lights and were made possible through a partnership with several organizations. They will be used by the BeltLine Path Force unit to improve public safety along a popular trail system.

The bikes were purchased from Pedego and assembled with the help of students in an after-school program. Maintenance will be provided by Clutch Bike Shop.

Further details about the new e-bikes and their intended use are available from the source.
