A regional housing strategy has been unveiled by the Atlanta Regional Commission. The strategy, called Housing Forward 2035, is intended to guide the commission's approach to affordable and accessible housing. It was presented by ARC leadership at a regional housing forum on September 2.

The plan is the result of years of work on economic development and housing solutions. ARC CEO Anna Roach described it as a landmark regional planning effort.

Further details of the strategy will be discussed over the next four board meetings, with passage expected early next year. For more information, the full outline of the strategy is available from the source.
