2.3 million bottles of sour children’s candy sold at Walmart recalled. Here’s why

A recall has been issued for Sour Crush rolling liquid candy due to a potential choking hazard. The issue lies with the applicator, which can detach and pose a risk. Consumers are advised to stop using the product, although the candy itself is not affected.

Refunds are being provided by the manufacturer, Ricky Joy. A prepaid shipping label will be given to consumers to return the product.

The recalled candy was sold at various retailers, including Walmart, from January 2023 to May 2026, with prices ranging from $3 to $32 per pack. No injuries have been reported so far.
